Special Reports

MSU Value

Serving the state of Michigan, nearly 89 percent of MSU's students are Michigan residents. MSU enrolls nearly 16 percent of all students attending public four-year institutions in Michigan.

The 2006-2007 budget is intended to preserve and build upon MSU's stature as one of the top 100 research universities in the world. The budget also will serve the university, and the people it serves, well as MSU moves from a land-grant to a world-grant 21st-century university.

MSU supports Michigan and its people first, providing exceptional value to its students and stakeholders, now and throughout their lifetimes.

The investment our students make in an MSU education today will continue to pay dividends in the years ahead. By sustaining and enhancing MSU's internationally acclaimed programs today, we also serve as a catalyst for Michigan's prosperity in the future.
