Arrived in Beijing
Friend Ruijuan Qi (undergrad at Peking University) met me at airport. We spent last summer together in Wolong and it was good to catch up with her. She took me to Peking University. I stayed at the panda research center there overnight.

Plane trip 13 ½ hours Detroit to Tokyo; 3.5 hours Tokyo to Beijing.
On plane activities- worked on homework for forestry course (still in progress), watched movie, slept, read book, listened to music.
